The second NCPS (replacing the 2014 version). Establishes the Nigeria Computer Emergency Response Team (ngCERT) under ONSA, designates Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) sectors, and frames the National Council on Cybersecurity. The 2024 Cybercrimes Amendment Act introduced the controversial cybersecurity levy (0.5% of electronic transactions) which was subsequently suspended by the President in May 2024.
