Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (b. 1954) served as Federal Minister of Finance under Obasanjo (2003–06), negotiating the Paris Club debt write-off of 2005–06 that cancelled about US$30 billion of Nigeria's $36 billion external debt. She returned as Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance under Jonathan (2011–15). She has been Director-General of the WTO since 1 March 2021.
