Second-largest formal palm-oil producer in Nigeria; pioneer of the integrated palm-oil refinery model.

Deep dive

Presco Plc, the other NGX-listed integrated oil-palm operator, was incorporated in 1991 and operates plantations and a refinery in Edo State. It is controlled by the Belgian SIAT group. Together with Okomu it is one of the two industrial-scale palm-oil operations supplying the Nigerian FMCG and refined-oils market.
