The 2013 Policy was the basis of the Civil Aviation Act 2022, which consolidated the regulatory powers of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Zaria (NCAT).
