Muhammad Ali Pate (b. 12 December 1968, Misau, Bauchi State) was Minister of State for Health under Jonathan (2011–13) and Global Director for Health Nutrition and Population at the World Bank (2019–2023).
He returned to head the renamed Federal Ministry of Health & Social Welfare under Tinubu, with a remit covering the Sector-Wide Approach reform agenda and the human-resources-for-health crisis (the 'Japa' wave of medical emigration).
