The record
Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi, born 12 April 1960 in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, took silk in 1998. He led the legal team for President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election petition before his appointment as AGF.
As AGF his office has prosecuted the Section 22 EFCC actions against former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele and pursued the FAAC distribution litigation against state governments.
