Audu Ogbeh (1947–2024) had served as Minister of Communications and Steel under the Second Republic, and as PDP National Chairman from 2001 to 2005.
As Agriculture Minister he partnered with the CBN on the Anchor Borrowers' Programme, which by his exit had disbursed over ₦150bn to rice, maize and cotton smallholders.
