The 1916 Lugard direct-tax protests reach Ekiti Division via Ikole and Otun; the 1918 Adubi War spillover (Egba protests against forced railway labour) is felt at Ado-Ekiti; the 1929 Aba Women's War echoes in market protests at Ado-Ekiti and Ikere over produce-price controls. Suppressed by the Ondo Province Police; generally non-fatal but recorded in District Officer reports.
