Implements Nigeria's commitments under the AfCFTA Agreement, in force from 1 January 2021. The Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN) leads domestic coordination; the National Action Committee on AfCFTA (NACC) coordinates sectoral implementation. Nigeria's first commercial shipment under AfCFTA preferential terms departed Onne Port for Kenya in October 2022.
