Proforce Limited, founded in 2008 by Ade Ogundeyin at Ode-Remo, Ogun State, is the largest indigenous defence-manufacturing company in Nigeria and the leading African manufacturer of armoured personnel carriers and mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles. The company supplies the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Police Force, and exports to over 20 African and Caribbean armed forces.
Proforce vehicles — the PF Ara, PF Viper, PF Toro — are the visible Nigerian-manufactured component of the Boko Haram and bandit counter-insurgency operations in the North-East and North-West. The company's 2021–22 Pakistan joint venture for armoured vehicle production was the first Nigerian defence-industrial export-of-capability transaction.
