Peace Mass Transit Limited, founded in 1995 by Dr Sam Maduka Onyishi, operates one of the largest fleet sizes of any Nigerian road-transport operator, with over 5,000 vehicles at peak. Its low-fare, high-frequency model on the South-East / South-South corridors made it the most penetrative intercity operator of the 2000s and 2010s.
