Nestlé Nigeria Plc, established in 1961 as a trading subsidiary and converting to local manufacturing from 1971, produces Maggi, Milo, Nescafé, Nido, Cerelac and Golden Morn for the Nigerian and West African markets. It is the most profitable consistently NGX-listed FMCG by ROE, controlled by Nestlé SA of Switzerland. Maggi is the single most penetrated branded grocery product in Nigerian households.
