Fidson Healthcare Plc, founded in 1995 by Dr Fidelis Ayebae, listed on the NGX in 2008 and is one of the largest indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturers in Nigeria. Its Sango-Otta WHO-cGMP plant — commissioned in 2014 at a reported cost of $30m — was at the time the largest single private pharmaceutical capital investment in indigenous Nigerian pharma.
