The record

Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola (b. 25 May 1957, Ikare-Akoko) was Governor of Osun State for two terms before his federal appointment.

His tenure as Interior Minister centralised the passport issuance front-end into the enhanced e-Passport system (rolled out 2019), and oversaw the contested Imo prison break of 5 April 2021 in which 1,844 inmates escaped.
