The record
Babatunde Raji Fashola (b. 28 June 1963) was Governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2015. As federal minister, he held the unprecedented unified ministry of Works, Power and Housing for Buhari I.
His tenure produced the Second Niger Bridge (substantially completed 2022) and the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway reconstruction (substantially completed 2022).
