Complete overhaul of CAMA 1990: single-shareholder companies, statement of compliance, electronic filing, LLPs.

The first complete overhaul of CAMA since 1990. Single-shareholder companies permitted (§18); statement of compliance replaces statutory declaration; electronic filing and meetings codified; Limited Liability Partnerships and Limited Partnerships introduced; Companies Regulations 2021 (CAC) made under §868. Section 839 power of CAC to suspend trustees provoked the largest controversy at passage.
